Webb Lake / Mt Blue State Park

Over a month later and I'm back. :) I'm not really sure where November went. Anyway, tonight I wanted to share some photos from summertime. Here are some from Mt Blue State Park in Webb, Maine. Way west, nestled in the mountains, Tumbledown among them. What excited us the most during this visit however was the lake. Perfect water, perfect weather, dirt cheap boat rentals, and that. view. Perfection. As soon as we left I couldn't wait to go back. Awesome weekend camping trip. And we got to hit up Farmington on the way back. I love the shop Liquid Sunshine and the Better Living Center health food store there.

Karen Heinig, Chicago

Tonight's gallery takes us to my friend Karen's Chicago neighborhood. I love the glimpses into her world. I think her Pisces moon is speaking very clearly in these evocative photos.

instagram

I still have lots to do on the actual site, but I am going to start featuring photos this week regardless! Clearly I thought getting an instagram was higher up on my to do list, so find and follow and tag me @sightsofmaine. I'll probably troll around for #sightsofmaine every now and then (every day) too, just sayin'.

Help a girl out and send me your awesome photography, and get this little e-gallery going. Yes it's Maine-based, but I'll be including photos from everywhere. Use a watermark if you'd prefer, and include your name, location of your photograph(s), and any contact info (website, etc.) you want included in your blurb as well. Send them to: sightsofmaine@gmail.com

I'm working on getting buttons in the near future, which will make connecting with me on these various platforms easier. I might even get around to creating a facebook page.
